Stomaphyx

This is a new incisionless procedure to help people who have had gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy, and they have gained back some weight or have not meet their goal weight.  The amazing procedure does not use incisions to fix your stomach. By using an instrument that is placed down your mouth while you are asleep, your surgeon can suture your stomach to make it smaller.

The procedure usually takes between 30 and 60 minutes.  You go home the same day and can return to work the next day.  Most insurance companies usually cover the procedure.

The diet after Stomaphyx is clear liquids for 3-5 days, than progress to soft food for one week and then back to your normal foods.
